The anthology of texts which deal with development of a major phenomenon: movie fairy tale Three Wishes for Cinderella. Particular studies analyze film style and narration, describe circumstances of the project origin, map cultural and political context of international co-production and also follow up gradual genesis of cult status which the movie enjoys from foreign audiences. Special attention is also given to reflecting the changes of this film distribution in movie theatres and television in Czechoslovakia and Norway. The articles compose a complex depiction of causes which led to a mass popularity Three Wishes for Cinderella gained in several countries with different traditions and culture.
